Applications open for paid internship beginning in June 2016

Beginning in early June 2016, we’re offering a paid internship opportunity during which the successful candidate will have the chance to support our work within live arts, with a particular focus on comedy and our work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

During June and July, the successful candidate will work alongside our live arts publicity team at our office in Central London, and then in August spend the month at the Edinburgh Fringe (accommodation and travel provided).

The role demands a resilient work ethic, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach to the role. Tasks will include creating daily press reports throughout the Fringe, overseeing publicity commitments, social media activity and generally supporting the existing team.

For candidates applying, a can-do attitude and passion for comedy and live entertainment is essential, and an understanding of the media landscape – from print and online to broadcast – will be a huge plus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with an excellent reputation. Should the successful candidate impress during the internship, there is the potential for a permanent role from September 2016, and applicants able to commence full-time employment will be favoured.

To apply please email your CV and a cover letter of no more than 400 words outlining why you think you're the best person for the internship to with the subject line ‘Internship application June 2016’.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 27th May. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview w/c Monday 30th May. Due to demand we may not be able to reply to all applicants.
