StudioCanal UK were releasing Fredrik and Magnus Gertten’s fascinating documentary, Becoming Zlatan, offering never-before-seen insights into iconic footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic from his early days in the game. The StudioCanal team brought us in to handle publicity for the home entertainment and digital platform release to help establish Becoming Zlatan as the must-have film for fans.
We managed to secure a wealth of first-rate publicity coverage for the film, including a huge 1,600 word front page self-authored article in the Mail on Sunday’s Sport on Sunday, a first-person feature on BBC Sport Online, numerousfull-page features in The Sun, exclusive trailer placement with The Guardian Sport, profile on Vice and lead feature in Sport Magazine. The film was also featured on BBC Football Focus, The Premier League Show and on talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs.
