BBC Three, BBC Two / Two Brothers Pictures
- Publicity campaign for BBC Three release, BBC Two transmission

We were hired by Two Brothers Pictures to devise and implement a publicity strategy for the launch of brand new comedy series Fleabag on BBC Three, and for its airing on BBC Two. And, as they say, the rest is history…
For a brand new comedy launching on BBC Three, our priority was getting the show into the hands of the influencers we knew would love it, and then building activity around those. We were confident the critics would love it, but we also needed to ensure we reached the online audience that would watch on BBC Three.
Coverage on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and BBC Radio 4’s Today, plus various activity across BBC Radio 1 and on BBC Radio 5Live’s Afternoon Edition ensured the show was well-placed broadcast wise. We also secured substantial print coverage including feature activity with The Guardian’s Guide, The i, Evening Standard, Metro, Vogue UK, New Statesman, The Big Issue, Stylist and the Daily Telegraph.
Of equal success was the online coverage Fleabag received, with profiles, previews and interviews with key outlets such as BuzzFeed, The Pool, The Independent, Refinery29 and Cosmopolitan.
Fleabag went on to become one of the most talked-about series of recent years, securing a string of international awards including a BAFTA TV Award, and awards from the Royal Television Society, Writers Guild of Great Britain and Broadcast.
